The Secretariat will promptly acknowledge receipt of an application for full membership and will prepare it for an initial assessment by the Executive Director (ED) of the INDEPTH Network. After the ED has reviewed the application, it is forwarded to the Board of Trustees for review and decision on full or associate membership. This process could take several months.
In countries where INDEPTH has a member centre, a new applicant centre may be asked to be visited by colleagues from the INDEPTH member centre in the country. Where there is no existing member centre, the Secretariat may arrange to visit the new applicant centre.
